Autumn Photos and Halloween

Halloween
I can't resist sharing a good costume. If you see a person in good costume as Halloween approaches, take a photo (with permission) and share it with us. This invitation goes out to everyone.

Below are the rules for submission:
1. The photo must be your own, not off the Internet (of course)
2. email as attachments to japjxp@gmail.com
3. Include your name and the name of the person(s) in costume in your email. A watermark with your name and the name of your subject will be placed on each photo.
4. Happy Halloween

The next Camera Club Meeting is Friday, November 19th.

This Camera Club is open to anyone in Madison and its surrounding counties.

Your new "assignment" is to submit up to 10 photos of Autumn. I expect to see Madison County's landscape change a lot in the coming weeks. The birds will be flying south, Leaves will fall and change colors, etc. (You get the idea).

Below are the rules for submission:
1. The images must be your own (of course)
2. email as attachments to japjxp@gmail.com
2a. Make sure your name is in your email. A watermark with your named will be placed on each photo.
3. There is no rule number 3 (unless you count 2a LOL)
4. Have Fun

Until next Time

Autumn Pics, Picasa and more

I hope everyone is having a good time taking pictures. We were happy to welcome Capt. Ken Clark from the Berea Police Dept. at our last meeting who spoke to those attending and among other information, advised us to be aware when photographing government or “infrastructure” (water sources, railway, bridges, etc) items, that we may be visited by officers wanting to know why we are there. This is not necessarily because a law has been broken, but as an answer to a concerned caller in the age of 9/11 (AAaarrgghh!!!). Also keep cameras pointed away from the army depot (Nothing to see here, men in black, national security, and all that).
I would love to see lots of Fall photos over the next 6 weeks. Capture the wonderful colors of changing leaves as well as anything else Autumn speaks to you. Send your best pics to japjxp@gmail.com and I will post them with your name.

To those of you who have taken photos at various festivals, Body recall family day, Spoonbread Festival, Equestrian games, ect., please send the best of those to japjxp@gmail.com and I will get them posted to the blog and facebook pages asap.

Finally, for those interested in Picasa (free photo hosting and editing), I will be holding a class in Berea on Thursday at 10AM. Please call 986-7112 to sign up.
