Camera Club Meeting on Friday the 18th
The Madison County Public Library Camera Club will meet at 5PM next Friday. Classes are ending at our local schools for the 2011-2012 school year. This will be a great opportunity to discuss capturing children at play. Childhood moments are fleeting moments and we can use our cameras to capture them.
As always, you are encouraged to share your favorite photographs with everyone. Please send them as an attachment to mcplcameraclub@gmail.com. They will be displayed with your name in the Spring Features on our Blog, Picasa, and Facebook pages.

In addition to tips on capturing childhood moments, we will be discussing a more practical use for our photography. In the coming months, the library will be sponsoring day trips to some of our local cemeteries. During these trips, we will be mapping some of our smaller cemeteries and photographing their memorials (tombstones). These will later be made available in print and electronic resources. We will discuss tips and tricks for getting the best captures of these often deteriorating markers. We will also discuss how to use the website "findagrave.com"
please email mcpl@madisonlibrary.org or jpayne@madisonlibrary.org for more information.
